Joining a Circle is the quickest way to get active on Kyodo. You can find a vast list of circles to discover on Kyodo, public communities that are searchable, while there are others in private that require a direct invite. But how to create them?
How to Create a Circle
Create your own community with and invite your friends in a few steps.
Basic Creation:
Navigate to your Profile or the Circles Tab. Then, after looking for the Plus Icon (+) or the "Create Circle" button, you must:
Name your Circle — Pick something unique and descriptive!
Set a Vanity URL — Have your own custom link (e.g., kyodo.app/c/hub).
Pick a Category — Help the algorithm place you in the right Discovery section.
Circle Personalization:
Once created, enter your Circle and tap the three dots (⋯) or the Drawer icon to access the Admin Dashboard:
Appearance — Upload a banner and icon. You can also pick an "Accent Color" for the UI.
Pages & Wikis — Create dedicated "Wiki" tabs for rules or relevant information.
Privacy Settings — Decide about your Circle being Public or Private.

Join a Circle
Explore the vast array of communities on Kyodo and join those of your interest!
Públic Circles:
Discovery Page (?) — Tap the Compass Icon to browse the page. Here, you’ll find Featured and Latest Circles.
Search Icon (?) — Find it on the upper right corner of the screen to look for Circles of your like.
Tap on the Circle of your interest to preview it, and click the Join Circle button.
Join Requests:
There’ll be some Circles set for Approval only. Follow the same process explained before then:
When clicking on “Join the Circle”, you’ll be able to send a join request.
Fill the request following the question asked – Why do you want to join this Circle?
Then wait for the Admin Team to approve or decline your access.
Community Invitation:
If a friend shares a Circle’s link, you can join by clicking it.
You’re also able to access using Staff Generated invites to join even if there’s an Approval only restriction.
If the Circle is Private, you may be prompted to enter an Invite Code or wait for the owner to approve your request.
Note: Please make sure you click on a Circle’s link. It should look like this: “https://kyodo.app/s/c/kyodo”
